Just sayin...
Today on the way home I caught an overwhelming whiff of turpentine. I glanced up and had an uneasy feeling about the headless, suited-up mannequin staring at me from a nearby storefront window.

Music
I started today off listening to an old Anniversary CD, "Designing A Nervous Breakdown". Ironicly (in that Alanis Morissette kind of way,) I probably came close to a nervous breakdown at work when every single piece of technology in the office pitted itself in defiance against me. I was finally able to throw music on again at the end of the day, and decided on Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot". The last song on the CD, "Reservations," was playing as I stepped onto my outbound train. I realized two distinct things. I'd just gone from Kansas (The Anniversary) to Chicago (Wilco) in one day. And maybe the song "I'm The Man Who Loves You" would be more romantic, but at the risk of taking Jeff Tweedy out of context, "I've got reservations about so many things, but not about you." I love my wife.

TurboTax
Am I the only one who cringes at TurboTax for comparing itself to "a GPS?"
Also, screw them for lobbying against making taxes easy.

Crazy Heart
Erica and I just saw Crazy Heart. I want the soundtrack and the wardrobe. I found out during the credits that T Bone Burnett did the music...which is probably why it was so great.

Memories
Listening to Last.fm, and Stavesacre - Keep Waiting just played... It was like a punch to the gut from a fistful of memories.

Arnold Palmer
Last night I bought a gallon of Arnold Palmer and ended up drinking most of it. This morning, I regret that decision.
